In the initial set up you are free to select specific IP block lists that you would like PeerGuardian 2 to use. If you are serious about blocking Spyware and Adware, then you may check the box to completely disallow any connection from those IPs coming from Spyware and Adware servers as well as several ad trackers.

Any cool extra features?

Most users use this program to block anti-p2p servers, government IP addresses, and educational IP addresses from accessing their system so that they may avoid penalties for illegal downloading. However, it is very good at blocking Spyware and Adware as well. While it can be annoying to not be able to visit certain webpages, PeerGuardian 2 allows a few simple options when you right click a blocked IP from the history list. One is to allow the IP access to your system for 15 minutes, or you can choose to permanently allow the connection. This is a good feature to use for some web pages that you know are secure.
